As many as 227 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 4 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 227 new cases of infection with COVID-19 have been registered in Moldova, of which 15 in the Transnistrian region.

The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) informs about another 227 cases of infection with COVID-19, of which one import case (Turkey).

As many as 1,832 tests were made today, of which 1,326 – for the first time and 506 repeated ones.

Twelve out of all today’s cases are medical employees: 2 physicians and 10 medical assistants.

As number of 10,396 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far and there are 17,672 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus in all.

At the same time, MSMPS also informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by coronavirus and there are 580 people dead of COVID-19 in all.
