As many as 142 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 5 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 142 new cases of infection with COVID-19 have been confirmed in Moldova, all cases with local transmission.

The Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS) informs that 142 new cases of infection with coronavirus were confirmed today; thus, there are 17,814 people infected in all.

As many as 835 tests were made today, of which 604 – for the first time and 231 repeated ones.

Fourteen out of all today’s cases are medical employees: 3 physicians, 10 medical assistants and one auxiliary staff employee.

A number of 10,718 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS also informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus.
