Chisinau, 6 July /MOLDPRES/ - The political parties which limit the government’s work and do not allow it assuming responsibility bear all responsibility for the political crisis we have. The current parliament has discredited itself before the society and must be dissolved. Prime Minister Ion Chicu today made statements to this effect following a meeting with President Igor Dodon and Parliament Speaker Zinaida Greceanii.
According to Chicu, the taking of responsibility for the budget’s rectification was made in full accordance with the Constitution’s provisions. Moreover, it is about important drafts, which see salary increases, payment of one-off allowances. The prime minister noted that he was still relying ‘’on the responsibility of the politicians from parliament, who are to come to meeting today.’’
„We will see what happens today at 14:00 and subsequently, depending on the behavior of these politicians, we will decide how we will take decisions and what we will do next. I hope once again that the political crisis started by politicians will be overcome today at 14:00,’’ Chicu said.
The parliament meetings, established for 2 and 3 July, did not take place because of lack of quorum. Only the MPs of the Party of Socialists and Democratic Party came to the session hall.
