As many as 604 people die of COVID-19 in Moldova in all

Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 18,141 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Moldova so far, of whom 604 died.

According to the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 388 infected persons are in serious condition, of whom 28 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,041 patients are hospitalized in a medium seriousness health condition.

Till present, 2,561 cases of infected among health system employees have been confirmed, among whom: 664 physicians, 1,164 medical assistants, 508 hospital attendants and 225 auxiliary staff members.

On 7 July, 308 people were treated and discharged from hospitals and there are 11,549 people healed in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of a death triggered by COVID-19 – the virus killed a 69-year-old woman from the southern Cimislia district, put in hospital on 22 June.
