As many as 330 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 8 July /MOLDPRES/ -As many as 2,069 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 330 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 18,471 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 119 of the new cases were registered in Chisinau, 25 in Comrat and Soroca each and 15 cases - in districts from the left bank of Dniester.

Another 308 people who had been treated of COVID-19 were discharged today; thus, there are 11,589 healed people in all.

The MSMPS leadership informed that another 17 cases had been recorded among medical employees: 3 physicians, 13 medical assistants and 1 auxiliary staff member.

At the same time, MSMPS informed about the registration of another 11 deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and there are 614 people dead of COVID-19 in all.
