Trade union body's agreement in case of dismissals to no longer be compuslory in Moldova

Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/ - The compulsoriness of the trade union body’s agreement at the dismissal of members has been excluded. The parliament today adopted a draft law on the amendment of the law on trade unions and Labour Code.  

The draft sees that the holding disciplinarily liable, transfer to another job or dismissal of employees who are trade union members, employees elected members of trade union bodies and non-dismissed from the basic working place or of the heads of the primary trade union organizations non-dismissed from the basic working place will be further carried out by consulting the concerned trade union bodies. Thus, these employees preserve, in continuation, enough legal guarantees, which will ensure the protection of their rights and interests.
