Electronic version of Moldova's Official Journal to have the same legal force as printed one

Chisinau, 9 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova will be edited both in the electronic and in the printed formats, with the same legal force. The MPs approved a draft on the amendment of the law on the way of publication and entrance into force of official acts in the first reading today.
Under the new provisions, the electronic issue of the Official Journal, the parts1-3, will be made available to all users for free, on the official webpage, in the variant for reading and printing. At the same time, the parts 3 and 4 of the electronic edition will be provided to users based on a subscription against payment.
The printed edition of the publication will be made available to users based on subscriptions or by free sale.
To become law, the draft law must be approved in final reading and changes might take place in the document, if MPs come up with amendments.
The Official Journal is the state’s official publication, edited by the Moldpres State News Agency Public Institution. Presently, the Official Journal is published at least once per week and is made of five parts. The laws, decisions of the parliament, decrees by Moldova’s president, acts of the Constitutional Court and Court of Accounts, international acts and reports of the Centre for Human Rights; the government’s decisions and instructions, the normative acts of the specialty central bodies of the public administration of the National Bank of Moldova (BNM) and other acts of the authorities are published in the first three parts. Legal announcements and press releases by private people and legal entities are published in the last two parts.
Moldova’s Official Journal is a legally protected product and gives Moldpres right to authorize the reproduction or creation of other derived products only by subscribers, under the contract on subscription, with their obligation to use it within the limits provided for by the contract, not to distort its content and compulsorily mention the source, Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova (The Official Journal of Moldova).
