As many as 12,188 people treated of COVID-19 in Moldova

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 18,666 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been confirmed in Moldova so far; a number of 12,188 of the people infected have been already healed.

According to data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 363 people infected are in serious health condition, of whom 26 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 1,025 patients are hospitalized with medium seriousness condition.

As many as 2,587 cases of infection have been confirmed among health system employees: physicians – 669, medical assistants – 1,184, hospital attendants – 508, auxiliary staff members – 226.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another three deaths caused by COVID-19. The virus killed two women and a man and there are 627 people dead in all.
