Moldovan foreign affairs ministry informs about ban on entering Itally

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Health Ministry of Italy on 9 July signed an ordinance banning the entrance in Italy on 9-14 July for the people who in the last 14 days stayed or transited the following countries: Armenia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Chile, Kuwait, North Macedonia, Moldova, Oman, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, the Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) press service has reported.
Also, the direct and indirect flights to and from the countries indicated in the Ordinance have been suspended. The restrictions refer to the land transport too. The sole exception is valid only for the Italian citizens, who can enter the country, with the observance of the rules of self-isolation at home.
The Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry will subsequently come up with specifications on the conditions of entrance in Italy for the Moldovan citizens, as soon as it is notified by the Italian authorities.
