As many as 258 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,819 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 258 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 18,924 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), all cases are with local transmission.

Thirteen out of all cases recorded today are medical employees: 4 physicians, 8 medical assistants and 1 auxiliary staff member. A number of 12,188 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS informed about the registration of another seven deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and there are 635 people dead of this virus in all.
