Emergency state in public health sector to be extended in Moldova till 31 July

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP), at a today’s meeting, ruled to extend the emergency state in the public health sector all over Moldova till 31 July 2020, with possibility of prolonging this term, depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation.
According to Prime Minister, CNESP head Ion Chicu, who today evening made statements after the Commission’s meeting, the decision was prompted by the pandemic situation which for the time being remains critical and is amplifying, both in the world and regionally.
Some interdictions regarding the entering of foreigners in Moldova, holding of ceremonies, work of pre-school institutions, leisure camps, night clubs, discos, entertainment parks, leisure zones, etc. are maintained with the extension of the emergency state in the public health sector.
At the same time, starting from 16 July, showers will be allowed in sports halls. Also, beginning with the same day, the work of the rehabilitation centres, including of spas and sanatoriums, will be resumed in stages.
