Emergency state in public health prolonged in Moldova till 31 July

Chisinau, 10 July /MOLDPRES/ - An online meeting of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission (CNESP), chaired by Prime Minister Ion Chicu, took place at the government today. The participants in the event summed up the epidemiological situation and established the actions necessary to be undertaken in continuation, the government’s communication and  protocol department has reported.   

„A constant diminution of the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection has been registered in Moldova in the last three weeks. Unfortunately, the same thing is not recorded regionally and internationally, where anti-records are established day after day. Inevitably, the pandemic continues to decide our lifestyle, as well as the activities at the governmental level,’’ the PM said.   

The commission members ruled to extend the emergency state in the public health sector till 31 July 2020. Proceeding from the imminent risk for the public health, the provisions and restrictions set till present are maintained in almost all fields.   

The strict observance of the measures of control and combating of the COVID-19 infection all over the country remains in force, especially at the headquarters of medical and sanitary institutions, in transport and trade units.  

All decisions approved by CNESP at the today’s meeting are contained in the decision No 20 and can be found on the website www.gov.md.
