As many as 174 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 12 July /MOLDPRES/ - Another 174 new cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus were confirmed in Moldova today, of which six ones in the Transnistrian region. All cases are with local transmission.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), there are as many as 19,382 people infected with COVID-19 in all.

A number of 1,071 tests were made today, of which 743 – for the first time, and 328 – repeatedly.

Eighteen out of all cases recorded today are medical employees: 5 physicians and 13 medical assistants.

A number of 12,667 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS informed about the registration of one death: a 61-year-old man from the southern Cahul municipality. There are 642 people dead of this virus in all.
