Moldovan president has meeting with Russian Ambassador

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a meeting with Ambassador of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, the presidential press service has reported.

The officials discussed a wide spectrum of issues on the strengthening and development of the strategic partnership between the two countries.

In particular, the sides referred to the results of a visit to Moscow by the Moldovan president, where he attended the jubilee of the Victory Parade, held in Moscow on 24 June 1945 and had meetings with Russian officials.

In the context, the head of state thanked the Russian partners for the decisions to back Moldovan producers by extending the facilities for the export of Moldovan goods to the Russian market, as well as to resume the negotiations as to the working out and signing of an agreement on providing a loan worth 200 million lei to Moldova.
