More beneficiaries of pensions, state social allocations of Moldova to receive one-off assistance worth 700 lei

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - The beneficiaries of all types of pensions established till 1 October 2020, the monthly quantum of which does not exceed 3,000 lei, will receive a one-off financial support worth 700 lei. The government approved a decision to this effect at a meeting today.

Also, under the cabinet decision, the beneficiaries of all types of state social allocations, established till 1 October 2020, except for the allocation for care, accompanying and supervision, will also receive a one-off financial assistance amounting to 700 lei.   

The quantum of the one-off financial support is not included in the quantum of pension and state social allocations. The payment of the one-off financial support will be made by the National Social Insurances House, through the provider of payment services, which ensures the payment of pensions and state social allocations.   

„The expenses for the enforcement of the present decision are covered at the expense of transfers from the state budget to the state social insurances budget. The sums of the one-off financial support, which are not demanded by beneficiaries, are returned by the providers of payment services to the concerned account of the National Social Insurances House and included in the payment in the immediate next month to the management month,’’ reads the cabinet decision.   

This decision is in accordance with one of the four laws for which the government assumed responsibility.

The sums of the one-off financial support will be paid to beneficiaries till late 2021.
