Moldovan president participates in ceremony on awarding National Army's contingent which participated in military parade in Moscow

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today participated in a ceremony on awarding the contingent of the National Army, which participated in the military parade in Moscow, occasioned by the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the presidential press service has reported.
The presence of Moldova’s contingent, made up of 75 servicemen, represented a homage paid to our fellow countrymen who sacrificed their lives for the Great Victory. The head of state thanked the military of the company of the Guard of Honour for the fact that they had worthily represented Moldova along with the military from other countries, proved an excellent military training and had an impeccable performance. Igor Dodon handed the President’s Honorary Diploma to each serviceman.
It is worth mentioning that, last time, Moldova’s contingent defiled on the Red Square ten years ago, on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
