As many as 224 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 16 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,889 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 224 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 20,264 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), most cases were registered in Chisinau – 112, Balti – 10, Straseni – 10, Orhei – 9, Cahul – 7 cases.

Three physicians and six medical assistants were discovered with the new-type coronavirus out of all infected people today.

A number of 13,640 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another four deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and there are 666 people dead of this virus in all.
