MPs of Moldova's Party of Socialists sign Declaration on support of government

Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ - The lawmakers of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) today signed a Declaration to support the government led by Ion Chicu. The action takes place after on 16 July the opposition MPs filed a motion of censure against the cabinet of ministers in the parliament’s plenum.

According to the PSRM press service, the Socialist lawmakers held a meeting to discuss a string of up-to-date subjects and the parliament’s agenda for the next week. One of the subjects discussed was the motion of censure against the Chicu government.

„The Socialist MPs condemned the attempts to destabilize the situation in the country and its throwing into chaos in the full swing of pandemic and economic crisis. The lawmakers highlighted the importance of preserving the social stability and peace and continue the support for people, including the carrying out of the national infrastructure projects,’’ the PSRM press release reads.

The declaration was signed by all 37 PSRM MPs.
