As many as 230 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,603 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 230 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 20,494 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), four out of all cases are of import. Eight out of all people confirmed are medical employees: 2 physicians and 6 medical assistants.

A number of 13,913 people have been treated of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another nine deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and there are 675 people dead of this virus in all.
