Moldovan president has meeting with head of administrative board of National Commission of Financial Market

Chisinau, 17 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a meeting with the head of the administrative board of the National Commission of Financial Market (CNPF), Valeriu Chitan.  

According to the presidential press service, the sides discussed the economic situation in Moldova, on the whole, the state of things in the financial, banking and non-banking sectors and considered the most important problems faced by this state institution.

In particular, the interlocutors analyzed the situation in terms of the non-bank micro-loans, which are quite demanded by residents. At the same time, the sides stressed that a lack of systemic approaches was recorded in this sector and citizens complain about unjustified high interests and ask for the state’s intervention in such cases.     

In the context, Igor Dodon and Valeriu Chitan tackled possibility to establish a much stricter uniform regulation of the issuance of non-banking loans for the population.
