Moldovan parliament's inquiry commission to investigate circumstances of forcible taking over of banks

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - An inquiry commission will investigate the circumstances of the forcible taking over of the stocks of commercial banks, insurance/reinsurance companies from Moldova, carried out on the period 2010-2012. The parliament approved a decision to this end on 20 July.
The commission will have nine members and will be made up of representatives of all factions: Adrian Lebedinschi (commission head), Bogdan Tirdea and Nicolae Pascaru on behalf of the faction of the Party of Socialists (PSRM); independent lawmaker Alexandru Oleinic (commission’s deputy head); Ludmila Guzun (commission’s secretary) on behalf of the faction of the Democratic Party (PDM); Dumitru Alaiba on behalf of the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), ACUM Bloc; Vasile-Andrei Nastase on behalf of the ACUM Dignity and Truth Platform. The faction of the Shor Party and parliamentary group PRO MOLDOVA are to delegate their members as well.
The inquiry commission will involve in its work all competent state’s authorities, will hear the sides involved and will submit to parliament a report on the inquiry’s findings and conclusions in a period of up to 120 days.
