As many as 404 people infected with COVID-19 in serious condition in Moldova

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 21,442 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been confirmed in Moldova so far, of whom 404 infected persons are in serious condition.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 25 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus and 973 are hospitalized in medium seriousness condition.

Another 257 persons were treated and discharged on 21 July. A number of 14,856 people have been healed of COVID-19 so far.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another one death triggered by the new-type coronavirus – a 54-year-old man from the northern Floresti district.
