As many as 356 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 22 July /MOLDPRES/ -About 2,000 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 356 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 21,798 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), most cases were registered in Chisinau – 187, as well as in nearby towns, 13 cases in Criuleni, 11 in Anenii Noi, 9 cases in Straseni and Ialoveni each.

Seventeen out of all people confirmed are medical employees: 4 physicians and 11 medical assistants.

About 60 per cent of the people infected with COVID-19 have been healed – 14,856.

At the same time, MSMPS leadership informs about the registration of another five deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and there are 712 people dead of this virus in all.
