Chisinau city hall publicly launches tender for purchasing of 100 buses

Chisinau, 23 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau city hall has publicly launched the tender for the purchasing of 100 buses.

The announcement on the tender was published on the platform www.achizitii.md and was for the first time ever published for five days in the European Union’s official journal of procurements.

The Chisinau city hall is the first public institution of Moldova to publish an announcement on the holding of the public tender for high-value procurements, in the Official Journal of the European Union.

The tender book, which sets the technical requirements for the future buses, was elaborated by a working group, made up of representatives of the city hall’s executive body, municipal councilors, experts in the sector. The announcement on the intention of procurement, as well as the accompanying documents sees that the sum provided for by the city hall for buying the consignments of buses is 270 million lei.

The bids for the tender will be submitted till 10 September 2020.
