Moldovan president awards state distinctions to group of citizens

Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodson today handed high state distinctions, in line with earlier signed decrees, at an official ceremony held at the Presidency, the presidential press service has reported.

The distinctions were awarded to ordinary citizens, who worked in diverse sectors and who, during years, distinguished themselves through long and prodigious work: teachers who carried out a huge work to educate more young generations, performance sportspeople, who brought the fame of Moldova abroad, artists and other categories of citizens, who proved high mastership and professionalism.

The head of state sincerely thanked for the huge labour and professional dedication. The president wished them good health and success in continuation.
