Moldovan president meets Russian ambassador

Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today had a working meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Russia to Moldova Oleg Vasnetsov, the presidential press service has reported.
The officials tackled a string of issues on the deepening of the strategic partnership. The sides highlighted the positive dynamic of the bilateral relations and spoke out for their strengthening in the long run.
In particular, the interlocutors discussed actions undertaken by both states’ authorities to combat the spread of COVID-19. The officials expressed regret about the negative tendency recorded in certain regions of Europe.
