Moldovan Medicines and Medical Devices Agency approves new clinic study meant for treatment of COVID-19

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (AMDM) today approved the third clinic study meant for the treatment of the COVID-19 infection.
According to the AMDM press service, the study is international and is held simultaneously in 35 centres from EU and United States and the medicine’s producers are from Germany.
In Moldova, the study will be carried out at three centres from the Toma Ciorba hospital of infectious diseases.
All clinic studies held in Moldova are carried out under the supervision and evaluation of the National Committee on Ethic Expertise under the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry.
AMDM has earlier approved two clinic studies on SARS CoV-2 (COVID-19), which provide for administration of the clinical investigation product in patients with state of moderate and severe seriousness. Both clinic studies are held at the Timofei Mosneaga Clinical Republican Hospital.
