Chisinau Municipal Council approves action plan for working out of General Urban Plan

Chisinau, 28 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau Municipal Council today approved the action plan for the working out of the plan on arrangement of the municipality’s territory and the General Urban Plan of the Chisinau city.

The document includes also sponsorship for the elaboration of the General Urban Plan, which comes on behalf of the Association Research Centre for Sustainable Development from Bucharest.

The General Urban Plan is compiled for the entire territory of the settlement and regards: the transport scheme, system of networks, protected areas, delimiting the central zone, functional zones, as well as the regime of constructing, which comprises more details, for instance, the height of the construction or the percentage of occupation and use of the ground, inter alia. In the lack of this document, more instructions or decisions by local public authorities have appeared during time, which were trying to regulate the constructions.
