Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Ion Chicu today had a meeting with MP Vladimir Bolea and the Danceni village mayor, Victoria Butuc. The sides discussed more initiatives on the development and modernization of the infrastructure in the Danceni village, central Ialoveni district, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.

A pressing problem the residents of this zone have been facing for years is the lack of sewerage networks. Thus, the Danceni leadership asked to allocate additional resources to solve the problem and improve the living standards of the village residents.

The PM stressed that, despite the economic crisis triggered by the pandemic, the infrastructure’s modernization in districts represented a priority of the cabinet.

At the same time, the prime minister noted that one of those 16 multifunctional industrial platforms (PIM) of Moldova would be placed in the Danceni settlement. The ground, with an area of 6.5 hectares, will contribute to the region’s industrialization and creation of new jobs in the zone: ‘’We have earmarked 50 million lei for the arrangement and preparation of grounds with all utilities, so that we can deliver them for the use of investors. PIM will provide more jobs, as well as possibility of professional qualification for specialists,’’ Chicu specified.

The PM welcomed the initiatives of the lawmaker and the representative of the local public authorities. He urged other local authorities to signal people’s problems, in order to identify solutions together, for the benefit of the citizens.
