Thirteen illegal posts left in Security Zone

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic presented a report on the evolution of the situation in the Security Zone, at a today’s meeting of the parliament’s commission for national security, defence and public order. In particular, the central subject of the discussion was focused on the illegal posts set by the Transnistrian side, under pretext of combating the coronavirus pandemic, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.

According to the chief negotiator on behalf of Chisinau, these posts are to be removed unconditionally. Lesnic highlighted the decrease in the number of illegal posts from 37 to 13 in the Security Zone.

At the same time, Cristina Lesnic reasoned the need of changes of legislative improvement in the sector within her competence and informed the Commission members about the conceptual approach of the Reintegration Policies Bureau.
