As many as 426 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 29 July /MOLDPRES/ -As many as 2,196 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 426 ones proved to be positive. Thus, there are 23,947 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today. Three out of all cases are of import.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), most cases were registered in Chisinau -188, Straseni – 23, Rezina – 20, Telenesti – 19, Orhei – 15, Ialoveni – 14, Soroca and Comrat – 11 each.

Five physicians and 19 medical assistants have been infected with COVID-19 in the last hours.

A number of 454 people out of the hospitalized ones are in serious condition (of whom 36 patients are connected to assisted breathing apparatus) and 1,060 are in medium seriousness condition.

In the last 24 hours, another six people have died of the new-type coronavirus and there are 759 people dead of this virus in all.
