Transit of Romania's territory is of 36 hours at the most

Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s Embassy in Bucharest informs that the Moldovan citizens have at their disposal 36 hours to transit the territory of Romania.
The Embassy of Moldova welcomes the Bulgarian authorities’ decision to allow the entry of Moldovan citizens in Bulgaria starting from 28 July 2020, upon presentation of the PCR test for COVID-19 in English, made 72 hours before entering Bulgaria at the latest.
At the same time, to transit Romania, Moldovan citizens will have to present to the Romanian border authorities the confirmative documents on the goal of the stay in Bulgaria (booking in hotel), health insurance, the results of the aforementioned test and the concerned travel documents.
At present, the activity through the following Romanian-Bulgarian border checkpoints remains temporary or fully suspended: Negru Voda, Constanta county, Lipnita- Constanta county; Dobromir – Constanta county, Zimnicea – Teleorman country; Turnu Magurele – Teleorman county; Bechet – Dolj county (except for the goods transport).
The embassy recommends that the transit, which will not exceed 36 hours, be made on the transit corridor approved by the Romanian authorities for the road transport: Leuseni, Albita, Tecuci, Focsani, Buzau, Bucharest, Giurgiu, Ruse.
