Chisinau, 30 July /MOLDPRES/ - President Igor Dodon today handed the keys of a two-chamber apartment from the Stauceni settlement, Chisinau municipality, to the family of the taxi driver, Alexandru Usatii, who died in the wake of a tragic traffic accident in the centre of the Moldovan capital, the presidential press service has reported.
The taxi driver’s widow, Rovena Usatii, by herself brings up two sons, aged 9 and 18 and they were living at the grandparents because of the fact that they did not have their own dwelling.
Thanks to representatives of the Kaufland Company, as well as to other generous people, who reacted to a call launched by the head of state within a national fundraising campaign for purchasing a dwelling, the greatest dream of the Usatii family came true today.
Also, Igor Dodon gave to the family a bed and a fridge, which they urgently needed, as well as fruits, books and other necessary things. The president wished them good health, peace and to be happy with achieving their wishes in the new dwelling.
