India provides Moldova with consignment of humanitarian assistance

Chisinau, 31 July /MOLDPRES/ - Charge d’Affaires of Moldova’s Embassy in Romania Emil Jacota today received a consignment of humanitarian assistance provided by the government of India. The donation consists of a batch of 6,000 kg of medicines and 700 disposable surgical equipments, 1,750 protection overalls and 3,500 surgical masks.
The donation ceremony took place in Bucharest, at the headquarters of India’s Embassy in Romania, accredited for Moldova, in the presence of the new Ambassador of India in Bucharest Rahul Shrivastava.
The Moldovan diplomat welcomed the Indian authorities’ decision to back the efforts of Moldova’s government in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, which will allow covering the urgent needs of the hospitals from Moldova.
