More than 440 people infected with COVID-19 in serious condition in Moldova

Chisinau, 1 August /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 24,733 cases of infection with the new-type coronavirus have been confirmed in Moldova so far. A number of 442 persons infected are in serious condition, of whom 39 are connected to assisted breathing apparatus.

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), 1,152 patients are hospitalized in medium serious condition.

On 31 July, 302 people were treated and discharged from hospitals. As many as 17,571 people have been healed of COVID-19 in all.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another five deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and thus, there are 783 people dead of this virus in all.
