As many as 3,286,304 people recorded in Moldova's State Register of Voters till 1 August 2020

Chisinau, 1 August /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 3,286,304 people have been recorded in the State Register of Voters till 1 August 2020, according to data by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

CEC said that 2,807,728 citizens with right to vote out of all voters registered in the State Register of Voters were ascribed to the administrative and territorial units of the second level.

The differences comprises the people who have Moldova’s citizenship, but have no registration at the place of residence, including the ones who emigrated abroad (229,570 people) and the citizens with right to vote with residence registered in the administrative and territorial units from the left bank of Dniester, who are temporarily out of the sovereign control of Moldova’s constitutional authorities (249, 006 persons).
