As many as 249 new COVID-19 cases recorded in Moldova in last 24 hours

Chisinau, 2 August /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,013 biological samples have been processed in Moldova in the last 24 hours, of which 249 ones proved to be positive, of which two ones in the Transnistrian region. Thus, there are 25,362 COVID-19 cases registered in Moldova in all today. One of all cases is of import (USA).

According to the data by the Health, Labour and Social Protection Ministry (MSMPS), seven out of the cases recorded today are medical employees: 1 physician, 5 medical assistants and 1 auxiliary staff member.

A number of 17,816 people have been healed of COVID-19 till present.

At the same time, MSMPS informs about the registration of another two deaths triggered by the new-type coronavirus and thus, there are 791 people dead of this virus in all.
