Moldovan deputy premier meets country manager of German Agency for International Cooperation

Chisinau, 3 August /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Cristina Lesnic today discussed with the country manager of the German Agency for International Cooperation , Siegmund Mueller, the carrying out of technical assistance projects on both banks of Dniester, the Reintegration Policies Bureau has reported.   

The sides considered technical aspects of coordinating the activities and possibilities of reallocating financial means from the completed sanitation component to the health one. 

„The government’s priority is to enhance the living standards of the residents from both banks of Dniester and we are grateful for the assistance provided, which ensures the rapprochement between people from the two banks of Dniester,’’ Cristina Lesnic said. The official also informed about the recent developments in the Transnistrian settlement field and Chisinau’s efforts to ensure the free movement of people, in the context of the Transnistrian region’s self-isolation.
