Moldovan parliament adopts 164 legislative acts during spring-summer session

Chisinau, 3 August /MOLDPRES/ - Moldova’s parliament adopted 164 legislative acts during the 2020 spring-summer session. The information is contained in the statistics report of the parliament’s 2020 spring-summer session, the legislative body’s communication and public relations department has reported.
As many as 133 acts are organic laws and 31 – decisions.
In the spring session, the parliament adopted 96 laws on amendment and completion, 20 laws were ratifications and 17 – framework laws. At the same time, 14 of the decisions adopted were for amendment and completion, 9 were focused on appointment and dismissal and 8were framework decisions.
The parliament approved 133 draft legislative acts in the first reading.
During the spring session, the parliament adopted five laws through the government’s taking responsibility before the parliament, of which a law was declared unconstitutional. It is about the law No 56/2020 on the establishment of measures to back the citizens and the entrepreneurial activity on the period of emergency state and amendment of normative acts. Also, the parliament adopted 25 normative acts, included in the list of the government’s legislative priorities.
Those 164 laws were adopted during 18 parliament plenary meetings.
The parliament’s spring session ended on 20 July 2020.
