Moldovan foreign minister meets Ukrainian deputy premier

Chisinau, 5 August /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Kiev, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Oleg Ţulea had a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, the MAEIE press service has reported.
During the discussion with the Ukrainian official, the Moldovan official reiterated Moldova's support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity within the limits of its internationally recognized borders.
The officials also spoke about the efforts in the negotiation in the 5 + 2 format on boosting a viable, peaceful and sustainable solution to the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, based on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country, providing a special status to the region.
The two officials also agreed to organize a visit by Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Reznikov to Chisinau to continue the Moldovan-Ukrainian dialogue on national and regional security issues, as well as his capacity as co-chairman of the Moldovan-Ukrainian Joint Economic Cooperation Commission.
