As many as 406 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Moldova

Chisinau, 6 August /MOLDPRES/- In the last 24 hours, 2,254 tests were processed in the Republic of Moldova, being confirmed 406 cases of infection with the new coronavirus, of which five from the Transnistrian region. So far, 26,628 cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection (MSMPS), five cases are imported. Of the number of cases today, 12 are medical workers.
Another 258 people were treated. So far, 18,676 people were treated.
The number of deaths reached 828.
