Decision No23 of 7 August 2020 of National Commission of public health

Chisinau, 7 August /MOLDPRES/- Under the Article 58 of the Law No10/2009 on state supervision of public health (Official Journal, 2009, No 67, art. 183), with subsequent amendments at the proposal of the Director of the National Agency for Public Health, starting with May 16, by Decision No10 of 15 May 2020 of the National Commission of public health, the state of emergency in public health was declared on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova. Following the analysis of the current epidemiological situation, as well as the assessment of the level of compliance with public health measures, the National Commission for Public Health decided as follows:
1. Resumption from 10 August 2020 of the activity of swimming pools, as respected the provisions of the Instruction for the operation of swimming pools in the conditions of the pandemic situation due to COVID-19 infection, according to the Annex.
2. Depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 infection, the restrictive measures will be reviewed.
3. The decisions of the National Public Health Commission are enforceable for the central and local public administration authorities, for private people and legal entities, regardless of the field of activity and the legal form of organization.
4. The territorial commissions of public health will ensure the revision of all the approved decisions / instructions, bringing them in accordance with the decisions of the National Commission of Public Health.
5. Failure to comply with the public health measures set out in this decision is danger to public health and will serve as a basis for the prosecution of misdemeanors and / or criminal liability.
6. This decision shall enter into force upon issue and shall be published on the official website of the government.
