Educational process to be reopened on 1 September

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- After a meeting with Prime Minister and Speaker, President Igor Dodon announced today he will propose to the Public Health Commission reopening from 1 September of the educational process.
He said that although the pandemic situation is complicated, “in Moldova there is a downward dynamics of 1.3% compared to the previous week. It is about 2,998 new cases. “
In this context, Dodon noted "we have decided to propose to the Extraordinary Commission for Public Health that educational institutions, kindergartens and schools be opened on 1 September."
Following the coronavirus pandemic, educational institutions in Moldova were closed in March.
