Supreme Security Council to consider situation in agriculture

Chisinau, 10 August /MOLDPRES/- The difficult situation in agriculture caused by drought of recent months will be discussed this week at a meeting of the Supreme Security Council.
After a meeting with Prime Minister Ion Chicu and Speaker Zinaida Greceanii, President Igor Dodon said he will analyze the situation in agriculture caused by drought on 12 August at a meeting of the Supreme Security Council.
"On Wednesday, we will hold a meeting of the Supreme Security Council. We will discuss drought and situation in agriculture. This issue is related to the food security of the state. We will also approach the situation related to COVID-19 ", he said.
Also, Dodon noted that this week he will start the process of renegotiating with the Russian Federation the loan of 200 million euros to support the budget of the Republic of Moldova. The renegotiation of the loan was approached during the president's recent visit to Moscow, where he met with Dmitry Kozak, deputy head of presidential administration, special representative of Russian president for development of trade relations with Moldova.
