Moldovan speaker conveys message on International Youth Day

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/- Speaker Zinaida Greceanii today sent a congratulatory message on International Youth Day, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.

The message says:

"International Youth Day is celebrated annually on 12 August at the initiative of the UN General Assembly to pay homage to young people globally and update agenda of problems and solutions for young people.

The UN Strategy Youth-2030 highlights several priority directions to change the lives of young people for the better: involvement, access to health and education services, economic inclusion, achievement of civil and political rights, support in times of crisis and conflict. I think it is a very welcome roadmap in youth policies for every member state.

On behalf of parliament, I convey to all young people wherever they are warm congratulations and sincere good wishes, health and achieving all dreams. Your dreams are our goals!
