Moldova, Czech Republic to sign memorandum on social security

Chisinau, 12 August /MOLDPRES/- The cabinet voted to approve the signing of a memorandum on social security cooperation between the National Social Insurance House (CNAS) of Moldova and the Czech Social Security Administration.

The memorandum aims at developing bilateral relations in the social security, contributing to the establishment of favorable collaboration relations to the institutions in the field and citizens.

CNAS currently implements five agreements on guaranteeing citizens' rights in the pension insurance, based on the principle of territoriality with Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the National Social Insurance House applies 12 social security agreements based on European principles with Bulgaria, Portugal, Romania, Luxembourg, Austria, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Germany.
