Chisinau, 13 August /MOLDPRES/- About five hundred employees in the country infected with COVID-19 at work will benefit from one-off allowances. To this end, the government will allocate from the intervention fund about 7.8 million lei, the decision will be published in the Official Journal of Moldova on 14 August.

According to the decision approved by the government, the money for the allowances will be directed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, the Ministries of Justice and Defense, the State Protection and Guard Service, the National Agency for Food Safety, local councils, Gagauzia executive committee. 487 people will benefit from one-off allowances.

Employees infected with COVID-19 will benefit from one-off allowances amounting to 16 thousand lei, under the Instruction of the Commission for Emergency No17 of 13 April 2020.
