Decision No25 of 15 August 2020 of National Commission of Public Health

Chisinau, 15 August /MOLDPRES/- Under the Article 58 of the Law No10/2009 on state supervision of public health (Official Journal of Moldova 2009 No67, Article 183), as amended, at the proposal of Director of the National Agency for Public Health, starting with May 16, by Decision No10 of 15 May 2020 of the National Commission of Public Health (CNESP), a state of public health emergency was declared on the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova.
Following the analysis of the current epidemiological situation, as well as the assessment of the level of compliance with public health measures, the National Public Health Commission decides:
1. By way of derogation from pt 3.5. of Decision No21 of 24 July 2020 of CNESP, it is allowed to resume from August 17, 2020, the educational process within the private early education institutions, in case the conditions for carrying out the activity of the institution comply with the Instruction on preparing for reopening and resumption of work of early education institutions in the context of the Covid pandemic, as well as in case of coordination with the National Agency for Public Health and the National Agency for Food Safety of the Self-Assessment Report on the preparation for reopening of the early education institution, approved by the above-mentioned CNESP Decision, Annex No7 and Annex No8 respectively.
2. Depending on the evolution and trend of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 infection, restrictive measures will be reviewed.
3. The Commission decisions are enforceable for the central and local public administration authorities, private people and legal entities, regardless of the field of activity and legal form of organization.
4. The territorial commissions of public health will ensure the review of all approved decisions / instructions bringing them in line with the Decisions of the National Commission of Public Health of the Republic of Moldova.
5. Failure to comply with the public health measures set out in this decision is danger to public health and will serve as basis for the prosecution of contraventions and / or criminal liability.
6. This Decision shall enter into force upon issuance and shall be published on the official website of the Government.
