Voters can notify electoral body on polling place

Chisinau, 17 August /MOLDPRES/- The Central Electoral Commission announces that voters may apply for new residence in order to participate in the 1 November presidential election.

Thus, to vote at a polling station other than according to the valid residence, the voter will submit a residence declaration to the local public administration authority of the locality where he wishes to vote.

Through the procedure, the voter will be registered in the electoral list of the polling station as declared place of residence and will be able to vote at the respective polling station.

The declaration with attached ID copy will be submitted personally by 1 October.

Declarations submitted for previous elections are no longer valid.
