Foreign minister of Turkey to visit Chisinau

Chisinau, 19 August /MOLDPRES/- Details ahead of the forthcoming visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to Moldova were discussed at today's meeting of Foreign and European Integration Minister Oleg Țulea with Turkish Ambassador to Chisinau Gürol Sökmensüer, the MAEIE’s press service has reported.

The officials approached several issues on the common bilateral agenda, as well as organizational aspects of the forthcoming visit to Moldova of the Turkish diplomat Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, scheduled for August 26-27.

The meeting was also attended by Consul General of Turkey in Comrat Hasan Akdogan, who presented to Minister Oleg Țulea the original of the consular patent, the official inauguration of the Consulate General will take place on the sidelines of the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister.

At the same time, it was agreed to organize the first meeting of the Joint Working Group for strategic planning, co-chaired by the foreign ministers of the two states.
